How would one describe Schuman Hoque, El Director/Producer/ Editor?

A stranger in strange land? Perhaps.  An alien in his own culture? Certainly.  A true believer in digital cinema, a lover of classical filmmaking, and a passionate supporter of the underdog?  Definitely.

Having made countless low budget Bhangra videos, co-written two books and inspired loads of young filmmakers, Schuman is currently working on becoming the next big thing... will he make it?  Who knows, but he’ll sure as hell enjoying trying!

As a filmmaker influenced by an eclectic, and some might say, unlikely mixture of filmmakers such as Francis Coppola, Takeshi Kitano, David Fincher, Luc Besson, Brian De Palma, Woody Allen and Michael Bay; Schuman has no delusions of becoming the next Orson Welles... but he wouldn't mind having the career of Susanna White.

Indifferent towards what the critics will think, Schuman hopes to make a series of crowd pleasing, money making genre pictures before retiring to spend his time doing whatever he damn well pleases.
